We run large-scale accommodation villages that support the mining industry across regional Queensland. Right now, we're looking for experienced Line Chefs with a formal qualification, based in New Zealand to join us on a 14:7 fly-in-fly-out roster. At the moment, we're only able to accept applications from New Zealand citizens.
What's the gig?
You'll Work For Two Weeks On-site, Then Head Home To NZ With a Week To Yourself. While You're On Site, Here's What You Can Expect
* Preparing and cooking large-volume, high-quality meals (sometimes for 3,000+ people daily!)
* Following set menus and food safety procedures (HACCP knowledge essential)
* Working collaboratively with your team to deliver consistently high standards
* Day and/or night shifts required, either 10.5 or 12 hour working days
* Contributing to a positive, respectful kitchen culture

What We're Looking For
* NZ Citizenship (no visa needed)
* A recognised cookery qualification (e.g. NZQF Level 4 / Certificate III or equivalent)
* Experience in bulk or fast-paced commercial kitchens
* Flexibility and a team-first attitude
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
* Strong time management and resilience — this is a physically demanding job with real rewards
