We are urgently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to start immediately in a temporary full-time assignment with a highly reputable electrical organisation that services the commercial and industrial sector for nearly 40 years.
**In this role you will be responsible for a range of accounts duties, together with associated administration tasks including**:
- Entering data from supplier invoices, verifying and reconciling invoices and processing payments
- Follow up of outstanding invoices and statements, and prepare the appropriate documentation for payment
- Associated administration tasks, filing/archiving, matching correspondence and general administration support.
**To be considered for this temporary opportunity, you will need to demonstrate**:
- High volume accounts payable processing experience
- Fast and accurate data entry skills
- High attention to detail
- Experience using ERP/financial management software systems (experience using SIMPRO and Xero Accounting advantageous but not essential)
- Availability to commence asap and work Monday to Friday (8:00am to 4:00pm)
