Business Development Director
The Business Development Director will drive new sales opportunities across various industries and be responsible for revenue growth.
The Role:
- Identify, qualify, and attract new clients by understanding their needs and aligning with subject matter experts to deliver tailored solutions.
- Build a strong sales pipeline, oversee bid strategies, and coordinate responses to drive business growth.
- Act as a brand ambassador, strengthening the company's reputation through networking, client meetings, and industry engagement.
- Partner with leaders, specialists, and teams, leading new opportunities through to a win.
- Ensure smooth transitions for client servicing teams by clearly communicating needs and expectations for successful execution.
- Adopt best-practice processes and methodologies to ensure a consistent client experience.
Key Requirements
- Demonstrated track record of success in winning large clients within the commercial risk/insurance or professional services industry.
- Experience working within a sales environment with proven results, and willingness to align to existing methodologies and approaches.
- Ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence key stakeholders via formal and informal channels.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of CRM tools and ability to utilize them to monitor performance and lead generation effectiveness.
