Overview
Health Club Manager role at Belgravia Leisure, based at Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre, Kangaroo Flat, VIC 3555. Coordinate the day-to-day operation of the health club, Coaching Zone and personal training programs by providing leadership and direction to a passionate, professional fitness team. Identify opportunities to maximise occupancy and growth and deliver a culture of exceptional service and innovation.
Responsibilities
Staff rostering within budget
Total attendance reporting – Personal Training, Coaching Zone and casual attendance
Ensure up to 90% of current members are scheduled for their Begin appointments
Member engagement on the gym floor
Coordinate and deliver the functional gym floor group training program
Achieve personal training session targets
Ensure all Personal Training sessions are tailored to client needs
Manage safe and efficient health and fitness programs within legislative guidelines
Ensure all health club and Coaching Zone equipment is in safe working order
Maintain Net Promoter Score (NPS) and mystery shop scores in line with KPIs
Demonstrate behaviours aligned with Belgravia Leisure values
About You
You will be a passionate leader who stays up to date with fitness industry trends and training techniques. You will be open to new ideas to engage the community and have experience leading a team to achieve targets. You should have strong communication skills, a genuine passion for helping others achieve their goals, and ideally at least 2 years' experience in the Health and Fitness Industry with proven experience as a personal trainer or exercise physiologist. Leading by example with integrity, excellence, courage, openness, respect, leadership and accountability is highly valued.
Qualifications
Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2)
Current CPR Certificate
Working with Children Check (or equivalent)
Current National Police Check
Leadership and Management Skills
Certificate III in Fitness
Certificate IV in Fitness
Fitness Australia Registration (or equivalent)
Experience working in a Health Club Environment
