Job Description:
The Chemical Engineer II will be responsible for leading process design and development for hydrogen peroxide production.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and review process flow diagrams, P IDs, mass and energy balances, and process control strategies.
* Specify and evaluate process equipment including distillation columns, pumps, heat exchangers, and instrumentation.
* Evaluate process safety through HAZOP studies, risk assessments, and compliance with AS, ASME, API, and ISO standards.
Ensure proper documentation of all designs, drawings, and test plans. Oversee project phases: feasibility, detailed design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans. Coordinate with suppliers and regulatory agencies to ensure timely project delivery.
Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and capital expenditure justifications for management. Develop and implement process safety management systems and quality assurance protocols. Oversee plant commissioning, performance testing, and operator training. Develop standard operating procedures and maintenance documentation.
