In this role, you will provide high-level strategic advice, analysis and support to the Principal and the senior management team in relation to financial planning and budgeting, human resource management, and facility and asset management. You will lead and manage the strategic operations of the school to ensure day-to-day financial, physical and school support resources are managed professionally and aligned with departmental priorities.
Operating within a sizeable school environment featuring various complexities, you will promote novel approaches to business services management and develop innovative practices that define best practice for other schools.

Our school
Our school is located directly opposite the Logan City Council offices and the Logan Entertainment Centre. These are both significant landmarks within Logan City.
The school is also located between Woodridge State Primary School and Woodridge State Secondary School. Together we make a corridor of educational excellence in the local community. Our school is easily accessed via train (adjacent to Woodridge Station) and also by bus.
The school opened 1972 as the Woodridge Opportunity School. It's name later changed to Woodridge Special School and in 1997 was renamed as Logan City Special School in order to recognise that the students came from the whole of Logan City, not only the Woodridge area.
About The Role
As the Business Manager of Logan City Special School you will be responsible for:
* The management and leadership of administration, grounds and cleaning teams on both the Charles Avenue and Wembley Road campuses.
* The coordination of rehabilitation and return to work processes on both campuses.
* The management and oversight of HR, finance and procurement processes across both campuses.
* Oversight of infrastructure management of both campuses.
