The Position
We are seeking a skilled and experienced onsite catering manager to lead our small team in providing top-notch food production and menu-based catering services. Key responsibilities include:
1. Assisting and overseeing food production and menu-based catering
2. Ensuring contract compliance and understanding of the scope of work required (including OH&S compliance)
3. Leading, mentoring, and creating a positive work culture
4. Managing stock control, budgets, staff mentoring, and training both front and back of house
5. Implementing catering controls and minimizing wastage
6. Building and leveraging positive customer and client relationships to achieve partnership objectives
The Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* Kitchen leadership experience
* A minimum Cert 3 Commercial Cookery qualification and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
* Experience with full P&L Management and intermediate computer/Microsoft office skills
* An ability to deliver high standards of customer-focused service (this is also a client-facing role)
* A solid understanding of allergen management, food safety, and infection control
