Job Description for GE PowerOn Advantage Solution Architect for Perth Location
Responsibilities
* 1) Support solution scaling for additional network.
* 2) Ensure the deployment of infrastructure components are in compliance with company objectives, national and local standards and follow industry.
* 3) Arrange inventory & database management for the deployment activities.
* 4) Arrange end to end solution for the deployment of the product from planning & engineering functions.
* 5) Issue & coordinate work orders to operations fulfilment, assurance and to field operations organization to perform some of the deployment activities, but still remains the total responsible for the deployment.
* 6) Securing a smooth hand-over of the solution/resource to Operations.
* 7) Ensuring the correct and efficient deployment of the network solution / resource, validating the deployment procedures and projects, and ensuring its adequacy to the customers particularities.
Qualifications and Experience
* Functional / Technical knowledge on the following: Power Utilities SCADA Architecture deployment
* PoA integrations System
* Knowledge of IBM ACE, SOAP webservice
* Testing of PoA functionalities
* GOOD TO HAVE: Good experience in PowerOn Advantage application and deployment of various components.
* Network configuration of SCADA, DMS, OMS in PoA.
* Should have worked on deployment of atleast 5 POA systems in Power Utilities.
* Detailed understanding of PoA architecture and its components.
* Should have experience in integrating PoA with OT applications like GIS, WFM, PI Historian and other corporate application systems.
* Should be capable of providing guidance in defining solution architecture considering integration of PoA with external systems.
* Setup of PoA Application and Database server, reports server, FEP server, Historian database and DPF (Dist. Power Flow) application server, Proxy Server.
* Guiding and supporting team during System Integrations.
* Good level of understanding on Windows and Linux server
* GOOD TO HAVE: Functional Understanding of the Power Transmission and Distribution
* GOOD TO HAVE: Customer interactions and working in multi-vendor environment.
* Knowledge on Agile Project Management Methodology
