About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Document Controller
to join a Tier 1 Contractor delivering a major renewable energy project in North Queensland. This 4-month contract is to a proactive professional who thrives in fast-paced project environments and can manage documentation with accuracy and efficiency from day one. It is a FIFO role on a 2/1 roster, with all flights, accommodation and meals provided. You will be based on-site in a remote camp-style environment, supporting a multidisciplinary project team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage, track, and distribute project documentation in accordance with company and client requirements.
Maintain accurate document registers and ensure controlled access to project documents.
Upload, review, and monitor documentation through Aconex and SharePoint (preferred).
Support project teams with document formatting, version control, and filing protocols.
Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure timely document flow and compliance with project standards.
About You
Proven experience as a Document Controller within the construction or engineering industry (Tier 1 or major project experience highly regarded).
Strong working knowledge of Aconex; familiarity with SharePoint is an advantage.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work autonomously and adapt quickly to new systems and project requirements.
Comfortable working in a remote, FIFO camp environment on a 2/1 roster.
