Retail Leadership Role
Drive success across North Queensland by leading a team of around 150 staff across 13 regional stores.
This is a key leadership position that requires exceptional customer service standards, operational excellence, and the ability to motivate and train staff to achieve great results.
* Leadership Responsibilities:
* Lead, train, and mentor store managers and teams.
* Maintain exceptional customer service standards across locations.
* Drive operational excellence, stock accuracy, and minimising shrinkage.
* Recruit and coach great people for great results.
* Manage rostering, performance, and HR practices.
* Travel regularly to visit and support stores hands-on.
* Keep a finger on the pulse of local market trends and report to ops.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
* Previous experience as an area or multi-site manager in a fast-paced environment.
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with a resilient and confident profile.
* Previous experience with high standards of visual merchandising and stock management.
* Understanding of human resources, payroll, and collective agreements/awards.
* Highly organised with good prioritisation and time management skills.
* Strategic and logical intelligence, delivering people, store, and stock/inventory reports and audits.
* Knowledge of computerised systems, time and attendance, and POS systems.
* Availability to work long shifts, weekends, and public holidays when necessary.
* Hold a current driver's licence and availability to travel and stay in different stores for up to 7 days at a time.
