Job Description
The Vulvar Disorders Unit at the Royal Women's Hospital offers an exciting opportunity for a one-year clinical Fellowship. This position is ideal for those pursuing careers in dermatology, gynaecology, or general practice.
As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work alongside 6 dermatologists, 3 gynaecologists, a dermatology registrar, a specialist nurse, physiotherapists, and a sexual counsellor. Our clinic manages a diverse range of disorders, including inflammatory dermatoses, vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia, and other malignancies, as well as vulvodynia.
Responsibilities
* Participate in 1 clinic per week (Thursday afternoon)
* Engage in research activities and assist with monthly pathology/clinical update meetings
* Help organize and participate in monthly meetings
* Manage patients on biologic therapies
* Contribute to patient care and education within a multidisciplinary team
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* MBBS or equivalent qualification
* Registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
