To support Tesla's growth in Australia and New Zealand, we are seeking an innovative Global Mobility Recruiter to join our high performing in‐house recruitment team on an initial 6‐month fixed term contract. This first in‐market role is focused on establishing international talent pathways and will be dedicated to identifying, attracting and onboarding high‐calibre talent from overseas to contribute to our mission of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. Key focus areas are vehicle service technicians and body repair professionals including painters and panel beaters.
As a Global Mobility Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in bridging global talent pools with our operations in ANZ. You will thrive in a dynamic environment where flexibility, cultural awareness and strategic sourcing are critical to success. This role requires a proactive approach to building relationships with international candidates, mapping out and ensuring visa compliance, navigating cross‐border recruitment challenges and ensuring a seamless experience from application to onboarding.
What You'll Do
* Specialise in sourcing and recruiting international talent, with a focus on candidates from key markets (e.g., North America, UK, Europe, Asia and beyond).
* Work closely with recruiters to provide candidates for identified roles.
* Provide weekly reporting on progress and track success.
* Partner with hiring teams to define role requirements and develop targeted strategies for attracting skilled professionals abroad.
* Manage end‐to‐end recruitment for roles requiring visa sponsorship, including coordination with legal and immigration teams.
* Leverage global networking platforms, industry partnerships and creative sourcing techniques to identify passive talent.
* Provide a world‐class candidate experience, ensuring transparency and communication throughout the recruitment process.
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to align recruitment strategies with business goals and compliance standards.
What You'll Bring
* Proven expertise in sourcing and onboarding talent across borders, with a strong understanding of visa sponsorship processes in Australia and New Zealand.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in a corporate, agency, or global talent acquisition role.
* Familiarity with global employment laws, cultural considerations, and diversity & inclusion practices.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
* Proficiency in using ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and recruitment tools to manage high‐volume, cross‐border workflows.
* Bonus: Language skills or experience working with talent from specific regions.
