About The Position
WorkPac are seeking experienced HSE Advisors for a Project in Tom Price. This role is offering a 6 month during, FIFO from Perth working an 8/6 roster.
Key Responsibilities Include
Provide practical advice and solutions on all aspects of HSEQ Management, including legislative compliance and the management of HSEQ Risk for NWMC and Dingo Concrete Services. Complete HSEQ audit and inspection functions and provide technically robust and cost- effective recommendations and solutions. Promote a safe working environment and the ongoing development of risk management principles. Promote a culture of safety awareness, injury and incident prevention across the business. Assist with the ongoing development of the HSE Management System and processes. Manage and monitor injury management and return to work programs. Provide guidance on HSEQ related internal policies, procedures and standards. Monitor legislative changes and ensure compliance is maintained. Monitor systems in place for hazardous work. Monitor incident reporting, investigations and corrective action management. Mentor and coach employees to ensure a high level of performance. Maintain NWMC and DCS HSEQ key performance indicator targets, objectives and reporting requirements. Assistance with the management of NWMCs and Dingo Concrete Services online HSEQ portal (Skytrust). Assist the site teams, Supervisors and Managers by recognising hazards, seeking to minimise risks whilst creating, maintaining and improving the health, safety and environment standards of the business. Preparation and management of HSEQ reporting as requested by manager. Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits across varying locations and sites as requested by manager. Review current and create new risk assessments and safe work procedures (SWPs) for plant, processes, chemicals and facilities and all other activities as required. Lead, facilitate and report on investigations with site management to ensure the root causes and corrective actions are identified. Develop memos, letters and a like to communicate and reinforce specific HSE issueswith key stake holders as directed by manager. Implement and maintain business environmental management system Implement and maintain business quality management system Create new and maintain vehicle site access requirements including creation of risk assessments and sign off for new plant, equipment and vehicles. Assist with Client Prequalification process.
Skills & Experience Required
Certificate IV in Health and Safety (minimum) Certificate IV Training and Assessment 5 years industry experience in mining or construction / civils industry. Demonstrated experience in applying health, safety, environment and quality knowledge and processes in a broad range of complex working environments. Demonstrated experience in providing health, safety, environment and quality support to operational and project teams within small to medium organisations. Considerable experience in providing effective health, safety and environment coaching, mentoring and monitoring activities. Proven experience providing safety or environmental training and educational programs. Demonstrated ability to identify health, safety and environmental process and system improvement opportunities and participate in implementation and change management processes. Demonstrated ability to produce high quality results through applying attention to detail and careful analysis. Demonstrated personal responsibility to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks within established timeframes whilst meeting required deliverables. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously when required and as an effective member of a diversified team to deliver high quality, innovative and customer focused health, safety and environment support. Document Control experience. Change Management experience.
