Job Summary
Water management maintenance technicians play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning of site water infrastructure.
* Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on site water systems
* Remove and install multistage bore pumps, centrifugal pumps, fire pumps, and valves
* Operate mobile equipment, including telehandlers, excavators, and light/medium trucks
* Conduct polywelding and fabrication work
* Proven experience in water services operations with a focus on efficiency and safety
* Polywelding and fabrication certification along with high-risk work licenses are highly desirable
* A valid manual driver's license is essential for the role
* Strong commitment to zero-harm practices and excellent organizational skills are required
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary for maintaining accurate records
As a water management maintenance technician, you will be responsible for identifying faults within the water network and raising notifications accordingly. You will also be expected to operate a large-scale water distribution system and manage pond levels effectively.
