The role
MACA is seeking skilled and safety-focused Drill Fitters to join our Mcphee Creek Project Maintenance Team on a 2:1 roster.
The McPhee Creek Iron Ore Project is located 30km north of Nullagine in the north‐east Pilbara region of WA. The three‐year project scope includes mine load and haul of up to 10 million tonnes per annum, before being transported to Roy Hill for processing.
The fleet on this project consists of Hitachi Excavators (3600‐7, 1200), Epiroc Pit Viper 231, D65 drills, CAT dozers, graders, loaders, trucks (D10T2, 18M, 992K, 798D, 777).
Qualifications
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate.
- HR Drivers Licence.
- Minimum 2 years' experience working on EPIROC drills (D65 and PV231).
- Strong problem‐solving ability including diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across various fleets and machinery.
- Experience in an open pit mining environment.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Must present with a "Can Do" attitude to work and safety.
