Responsibilities:
* Assist in creating purchase orders and managing purchase requisitions.
* Ensure the timely delivery of goods and services according to user requirements and delivery schedules.
* Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies in billing or orders.
* Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing information.
* Assist in developing and maintaining inventory management systems.
* Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements.
* Support departmental efforts in cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a relevant field.
* At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a related industry.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Knowledgeable in procurement processes and inventory management systems.
