About the role - Join CSR Hebel as a Maintenance Fitter Are you a skilled Maintenance Fitter looking for your next opportunity in a leading manufacturing environment? CSR Hebel is on the lookout for a hands-on, proactive professional to join our team at our Somersby site. Your role is responsible for providing effective support in the preventative maintenance and repair of the production line, ensuring the achievement of factory production targets. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Mechanical Fitter will form part of the maintenance team and will be responsible for: Carrying out preventative and scheduled maintenance on all mechanical machinery within the factory and shutdown maintenance.Ensuring all relevant procedures & safe work method statements are filled out before maintenance tasks commence.Fault finding and troubleshooting to limit downtime and improve the operational effectiveness of the factory.Experience with any of the following would be highly advantageous: welding (MIG, TIG), Understanding on Condition monitoring and use of maintenance monitoring system SAP.Fault finding and troubleshooting to limit downtime and improve the operational effectiveness of the factory.Adhere to safe work practices and take steps to identify hazards and report incidents. What You Bring To The Role Mechanical trade license or similar (Boilermaker, Plant mechanic, HV Diesel Mechanic) that has previous experience as a Fitter within a manufacturing environmentPrevious exposure within industrial manufacturing with routine & breakdown experienceConfined spaced & WAH – preferredDogging DesirableStrong safety focusSAP maintenance system proficiencyFirst Aid, Forklift, and Elevated Work Platform certificationsExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenA hands-on attitude, strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both autonomously & as part of a team What we offer We Strive To Support Your Professional And Personal Growth.
