Wine Industry Sales Professional
We are seeking a skilled sales professional to grow our winery membership base and drive commercial initiatives across our product range.
* Sales & Revenue Growth: Increase winery memberships and renewals by articulating the benefits of our products.
* Drive sales of all winery and trade products, including promotional tools and event participation.
* Develop and execute an annual sales plan to meet revenue targets from current and prospective winery members.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with wineries to encourage ongoing engagement and repeat business.
* Help wineries understand the value and return on investment of participating in our products and content platforms.
* Present and sell from an annual events calendar to secure winery participation for our events.
* Work with internal teams to ensure winery expectations are met and deliverables are delivered professionally.
* Serve as the main liaison between wineries and internal teams.
* Gather and share feedback to guide product development and improve offerings.
* Stay current with industry trends and wineries' marketing needs to tailor sales pitches and services effectively.
Requirements:
* Sales background with wineries and/or in the wine industry.
* Proven experience in B2B sales, partnerships, and account management – ideally within the wine, media or events sectors.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Loves wine and the wine industry.
* A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
* Highly organised with strong reporting and follow-up discipline.
