About this role
This position provides oral health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, and education for the prevention of oral disease to promote healthy oral behaviors in patients. The role also involves restorative fillings treatment, deciduous tooth removal, and preventive services for children, adolescents, and adults.
The ideal candidate will have significant clinical experience in dental therapy, particularly in working with children. A high level of oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills is essential for effective collaboration with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive oral health assessments and treatments to patients
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
* Degree in Oral Health Therapy or a related field
* Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA - Dental Board of Australia)
* Significant clinical experience in dental therapy, particularly with children
* High level of oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
