Overview We're seeking a motivated and dynamic Pest Sales Consultant to join our high performing sales team in Sydney looking after the Wollongong and South Sydney territory.
In this role, you'll be responsible for strengthening existing client relationships while using your exceptional sales skills and outgoing personality to secure new business across the Sydney metropolitan area.
Your client base will include, but is not limited to, Tier 1, 2, and 3 companies.
You'll also collaborate closely with the Pest Operations team to ensure exceptional service delivery and provide leadership and support to internal team members.To set you up for success, we offer a competitive base salary, an uncapped and highly rewarding commission structure, a company vehicle, mobile phone, and laptop, as well as ongoing career development opportunities.
You'll receive comprehensive product training and hands on support from our Operations team, Sales Manager, Business Manager and the wider Sales Team.Key responsibilities Proactively driving sales growth by identifying and securing new business through cold calling and prospectingManaging and growing an existing client portfolio by understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutionsDeveloping and executing effective sales strategies to meet and exceed targetsBuilding and maintaining strong client relationships while actively managing your sales pipelineIdentifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services by understanding customer pain points and delivering value driven solutionsTo be successful in this role, you will bring 3-5 years of proven B2B sales experience with a strong track record of exceeding targetsA demonstrated ability to identify and convert new business opportunities while leveraging existing relationships to drive growthExperience using CRM systems, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office applicationsA background in construction, operations, or bird/pest management (highly regarded)Confidence in cold-calling and planning sales activity across the Sydney metro areaSelf-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong commercial acumen and strategic thinking to identify and capitalise on market opportunitiesWillingness and comfort working at heightsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentA current and valid Australian driver's licenceAbout Rentokil Initial At Rentokil Initial, we are proud to be the global expert in pest, hygiene and indoor plant care.
