We are looking for a reliable, experienced, and energetic part time Handyman & Grounds Keeper to join our team as soon as possible.

The Role
This is a hands-on, physically demanding position that requires a "jack-of-all-trades" mindset. While you will be part of a supportive and friendly team, you will often work independently. We need someone who is self-driven, can spot what needs doing, and gets on with it without needing constant supervision.
Schedule & Pay:
* Hours: Approximately 15-25 hours per week.
* Shifts: Generally Monday to Saturday, 9:00am to 1:00pm.
* Flexibility: Days & hours can vary based on business requirements. Occasional work on Sundays or extended hours may be required.
* Pay: Paid weekly in accordance with the Hospitality Industry General Award (HIGA).
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for maintaining the safety and presentation of our grounds and accommodation. Duties include:
* Grounds Maintenance: Mowing, whipper snipping, edging, etc.
* Gardening: Weeding gardens and occasional planting.
* Waste Management: Collecting rubbish, emptying BBQ drip trays, putting out recycling/green bins.
* Repairs & maintenance: Performing basic repairs and maintenance on cabins/facilities that can include touch-up painting, grouting, changing light bulbs, cleaning gutters, replacing tap washers, etc
* Team Support: Assisting the housekeeping team on occasion and performing other duties as required.
About You
* Experienced: You have previous experience in general maintenance/handyman work and ideally groundskeeping or gardening.
* License: You hold a valid Full Class C Driver's License.
* Certified: You hold a current First Aid & CPR certificate or be willing to get one.
* Checks: You hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or are able to obtain one.
* Physically Fit: This is a physically active role involving lifting, bending, and operating machinery.
* Self-Motivated: You are trustworthy and capable of self-supervision.
* Team Player: You have a friendly, positive attitude and will fit in well with our fun, like-minded team.
