We are looking for permanent staff to join our team at Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse and Ngilgi Cave.
Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse fully guided tours provide a fascinating insight into the functions of a working lighthouse and the region's extraordinary maritime history. Easier than most lighthouses to climb, the tower is accessible even for small children. From the tower balcony, the panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and Geographe Bay are simply breathtaking.
Ngilgi Cave & Ancient Lands Experience
Set above ground at the Ngilgi Cave, Ancient Lands Experience is an interactive journey along a scenic pathway meandering through native bushland, telling stories of the ancient landscape, cultural connection and native flora and fauna. Arriving at the entrance to Ngilgi Cave, prepare to be awestruck as you descend into the heart of the cave, where a self-guided adventure awaits. You'll stand in wonder before majestic stalactites, stalagmites, helictites, and beautifully coloured shawls and be enlightened by the presence of passionate guides ready to share their wisdom.
Ngilgi Cave and Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse are operated by the Capes Foundation a division of the Margaret River Busselton Tourism Association (MRBTA) that aims to undertake conservation & restoration, provide education & interpretation, and encourage enjoyment and appreciation of nature and heritage. MRBTA's Capes Foundation operates four caves, two lighthouses, an adventure ropes course, as well as caring for birds of prey at Eagles Heritage.
The funds generated by Capes Foundation operations are used to enhance sustainable tourism by marketing the region to visitors, undertaking visitor servicing, providing high quality attractions, and investing in the conservation and preservation of its natural and heritage assets, with a resulting contribution to the economy of the region.
