Job Description:
As a key member of our team, you will lead and manage day-to-day operations for our Cairns branch. You will be responsible for overseeing project planning, mobilisation, and completion of marine and diving projects. This includes ensuring effective deployment of personnel, vessels, and equipment. You will also drive compliance with company systems, Australian marine and diving standards, and WHS legislation.
The ideal candidate will bring:
* Australian Citizen (mandatory)
* Mandatory ADAS Dive Supervisor certification (or higher, with proven operational management experience)
* Minimum Coxswain or Master 5 Certificate of Competency
* Minimum of 5+ years' experience in commercial diving and/or marine operations management
* Strong background in commercial marine operations — preferable experience with fleet or dive vessel coordination
* Sound understanding of Australian WHS legislation, Diving Work Code of Practice ****, and AS/NZS **** Occupational Diving Operations standards
* Proven leadership and team management skills
* Demonstrated experience managing budgets and operational efficiency
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* Current First Aid & Advanced Resuscitation certification
* Current MSIC (or ability to obtain)
