About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Installation Professionals to join our rapidly growing Technical Services Division. This hands-on role involves installing cutting-edge connectivity systems for homes and businesses across Australia.
Ideal candidates will have experience in one or more of the following industries telecommunications, satellite installation, TV or antenna installs, smart home installation, handyman services.
Electricians, plumbers, or carpenters seeking a less physically demanding role are also encouraged to apply. You'll travel within your assigned region to deliver seamless service across a variety of tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Install and configure satellite connectivity systems, audiovisual equipment, and household appliances (e.g., dishwashers, washing machines, fridges) with precision and care.
* Conduct site assessments to determine optimal setups for installations, ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards.
* Provide trade assistance and support to licensed professionals on various on-site tasks, enhancing project efficiency.
* Assist with insurance assessments, documenting conditions and supporting claim processes as needed.
* Travel within your designated region to perform services, with occasional overnight trips to remote locations.
* Deliver exceptional customer service, explaining installation processes, addressing client questions, and ensuring satisfaction.
* Use provided tools and equipment to complete tasks efficiently, maintaining high safety and quality standards.
* Document job details accurately in our systems, including completion notes and any variations.
* Collaborate with scheduling teams to manage bookings, confirm appointments, and report progress across diverse tasks.
* Participate in ongoing training to develop skills across connectivity, appliance, and support services.
Skills & Experience
* Experience in telecommunications, satellite installation, TV installs, antenna installs, or handyman services (no formal trade qualification required).
* Electricians, plumbers, or carpenters seeking a less physically demanding role are encouraged to apply.
* Ability to read and interpret installation guides, or assessment protocols.
* Comfortable working at heights (e.g., on roofs or ladders), in various weather conditions, and across multiple task types.
* Willingness to travel within your region, including occasional overnight stays.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality outcomes.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
* Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company-provided vehicle.
* Basic proficiency with mobile apps or job management systems for recording job details (training provided).
* Experience with installations or insurance assessments is a bonus but not essential—full training provided.
