Responsibilities:
- Controlling and directing food preparation processes
- Assisting with menu construction using fresh local seasonal produce
- Covering Head Chef's days off and annual leave
- Stock ordering and identifying shortages
- Liaising with companies for food orders
- Maintaining and raising food profit margins
- Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed
- Implementing health and safety procedures in the kitchen
- Estimating costs and ensuring purchases are within budget
- Complying with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef
- Ability to divide responsibilities and monitor progress
- Credentials in health and safety training
