CMS Electracom is looking for a full-time Sales Executive based in Murarrie, QLD.
Role Highlights
This Sales Executive role is a customer facing position where you'll take ownership of new business development, manage key client relationships and contribute to strategic sales growth.
Suitable for a sales professional or a high performing customer service professional ready to take the next step into a sales career. Sales experience within the electrical industry would be an advantage, or a sales background within the commercial fit out & construction industry would be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain strong relationships with current clients through regular communication and face-to-face meetings.
- Proactively manage client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Monitor sales performance against budget and forecast for key accounts.
- Manage quote follow-up and ensure seamless order-to-delivery execution.
- Provide product support, technical guidance, and training as required.
- Identify and engage with new clients across target verticals (e.g. commercial, education, health).
- Prospect, qualify, and convert leads into ongoing business opportunities.
- Develop tailored proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to uncover new leads.
- Build and nurture relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, and Electrical Engineers.
- Present company products and capabilities through CPD sessions, showroom walk throughs, and lunch-and-learns.
- Identify project pipelines and ensure products are specified early in the design/documentation phase.
- Track and follow project specs from design through to tender and construction.
- Develop and follow a structured call plan covering portfolio clients, A&D firms, engineers, and target new business.
- Log and track activities through CRM including project information for visibility and accountability.
- Prioritise face-to-face engagement to strengthen relationships and increase specification opportunities.
- Provide market feedback and competitor intel to management.
- Represent the company professionally at all times with a consultative, solution-driven approach.
- Ensure all interactions deliver a premium customer experience aligned to the brand's values.
Candidate Profile
- 1–3 years of external sales experience or a high-performing customer service professional.
- Self driven individual with a track record of achieving targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficient in using sales and CRM tools to manage customer interactions and data.
- Knowledge of the sales and marketing landscape within the sales industry.
- Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communicator with the ability to build trust and rapport with client relationships.
- A team mindset with strong work ethic and accountability.
