We're looking for a tradesperson who can bring their A-game, handling complex carpentry tasks, critical maintenance, precise minor demolition and essential general labour support.
This is your chance to showcase your skills and grow with one of the region's largest and most respected construction companies.What You Will Do: Put Your Skills to Work.Perform advanced carpentry tasks, including complex framing, precision trimming and high-quality finishing, ensuring projects meet exacting standards.Conduct critical maintenance and repairs, ensuring site readiness and seamless project progression.Execute minor demolition tasks efficiently and safely, contributing to on time project completion.Provide skilled general labour support, tackling diverse construction and maintenance challenges.Contribute to the development and review of robust Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and risk assessments.Interpret complex construction plans with accuracy, ensuring precise project alignment.Maintain unwavering compliance with stringent safety, quality, and environmental standards.Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, project teams, suppliers and subcontractors ensuring seamless project execution.What You Will Bring: Your Expertise, Our Requirements.Extensive proven experience in carpentry, maintenance, demolition and general site work within the construction industry for a minimum of 3 years.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a highly effective team member.Unwavering attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to safety.Exceptional communication skills for seamless interaction with diverse stakeholders.Valid Construction White Card and current Australian Driver's Licence.Ability to pass rigorous Drug and Alcohol and Fit for Work assessments.Own standard trade tools (specialty tools provided).Must be an Australian citizen, eligible for DCSI/Defence clearances.What Will Set You Apart: Your Competitive Edge.Advanced experience in minor carpentry and demolition tasks.Proven track record of success on large-scale, complex construction projects.Exceptional ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative in demanding environments.Willingness to travel to regional South Australian sites (Generous Living Away from Home Allowance provided).Why Join McMahon Services?We offer a supportive, high-performance environment where your skills are valued, and your contributions are recognised.
