About the role

The Clinical Facilitator – Clinical Placements (Mental Health) role utilises advanced clinical and critical thinking skills, expert planning, and coordination skills in the support and provision of nursing and midwifery students on placement within West Moreton Health. The Clinical Facilitator – Clinical Placements develops and maintains collaborative relationships with clinicians and educators to enable facilitator of clinical placements to be available and accessible across the organisation. Major portfolios for this position include: coordination and provision of orientation; support in the development of nursing and midwifery students; support and facilitate workforce pipelines; review and management of mandatory and requisite education requirements.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

- Demonstrate clinical experience and contemporary knowledge relevant to the initial work allocation portfolio areas.
- Demonstrate skills and knowledge in developing, implementing and evaluating clinical education activities which support undergraduate students to deliver contemporary, and evidence-based care.
- Demonstrate skills and knowledge in the support of undergraduate students, assessment of clinical skills, and positive feedback frameworks.
