Role Description
We are seeking a full-time experienced Site Manager (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team in the Greater Sydney Area. This on-site role involves overseeing day-to-day site operations, including coordinating with subcontractors, managing schedules, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and addressing any on-site challenges. As a Site Manager you will also be responsible for maintaining communication between project stakeholders and ensuring timely and on-budget project delivery.
Key Responibility
* Project Oversight
: Manage and supervise construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
* Team Coordination
: Coordinate and supervise construction workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow and communication on-site.
* Safety Management
: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
* Budget Management
: Review project costs and estimates, liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor expenses and resource allocation.
* Quality Control
: Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work meets the required standards and specifications.
* Problem Solving
: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process, making adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track.
Qualifications & Skills
* Strong project and team management skills, with the ability to oversee construction operations and ensure milestones are met.
* Comprehensive understanding of construction practices, safety protocols, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
* Proven skills in communication, organization, and problem-solving to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Proficiency in construction software tools and technology relevant to project management and scheduling.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred, with relevant industry certifications being a plus.
* Prior experience managing residential construction projects is highly regarded.
