Tennis Australia (TA) is one of the largest sport's governing body, entertainment and sports rights-holder, and media production houses in Asia-Pacific. We are now looking for a Partner Activations Lead to join our team.
This role is responsible for leading the operational execution and end to end delivery of Partner Activations and to ensure the activations are delivered aligned to partner contractual obligations and the defined vision of the AO. This includes project management of agencies responsible for the build and fit out of partner activations, supplier and inventory management, management of logistics, OH&S and compliance, day to day activation operations and management of event staff.
About the role
Reporting to the Manager - Precinct Activations in this role you will;
- Work with Marketing & Partnerships (MP) Product Development, Design, Site Delivery and Precinct Operations teams on overall planning and delivery of Partner Activation Operations across the site
- Support the evaluation of contractual obligations and prepare cost and logístical feasibility for Partner activation opportunities that enhance the defined vision of the AO and provide leveraging opportunities for partners
- Manage multiple suppliers, ensuring Partner activation deliverables are met and build services are installed to a high quality
- Work closely with the MP, Product Dev and Design teams to support the development and delivery of briefs
- Project manage the operational requirements for the planning, build and delivery of activations during the Australian Open
- Work directly with the Infrastructure Delivery, Precinct Operations, Venue Caterer and Venue management team, temporary structure contractors and sub-contractors to review and refine Partner Activations (CAD)
- Manage specific partner activation budgets and report on financial status and budget implications
About you
- What you will bring to the role:_
- Experience working on major events or large brand activation where you've lead project delivery
- Demonstrated ability to project manage, strong organisational skills, operational planning and contract administration
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of commercial operations within a complex organisation
- Solution orientation with proven track record of successfully managing numerous stakeholders
- Experience in client management and responding to client briefs
- Basic financial management e.g. budgeting and forecasting
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
