Leadership Opportunity
At our company, we're looking for a bold and ambitious leader to help shape the future of our Queensland business. As General Manager, QLD, you'll lead one of our most commercially and culturally significant regions, overseeing a multi-site operation across 15 locations.
This is a high-impact role with broad accountability across people, performance, and culture. You'll have the opportunity to build trust, lead transformation, and elevate a proud and loyal team. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Full P&L ownership: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and daily trading analysis.
* Lead and develop direct reports: Foster a values-led, high-performance culture by leading and developing 11 direct reports across key leadership roles.
* State-wide alignment: Partner with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and national functions to drive state-wide alignment with national strategies.
* Champion safety: Ensure compliance with WHS, food safety, COR, and audit frameworks.
* Calm and decisive leadership: Demonstrate calm and decisive leadership during audits, disruptions, or times of operational pressure.
* Travel and visibility: Travel across QLD to maintain visibility and support local leaders.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
* 5+ years' senior leadership experience: In multi-site operations, preferably in the foodservice, FMCG, cold chain, or logistics industry.
* Proven commercial acumen: Strong analytical skills and ability to manage large-scale commercial P&Ls.
* Strategic leadership: Ability to delegate effectively while remaining close to performance levers.
* Experience leading sales and operations: Proven track record of leading across both sales and operations functions.
* Strong communication skills: Empathetic and adaptable communicator who can engage and influence at all levels.
* Understanding of cold chain distribution: Knowledge of cold chain distribution, food processing, and safety culture.
