About the role
GroundProbe is seeking trade‑qualified candidates for our Electrical/Mechanical Technician role. The position is based at our Brisbane office and requires Monday to Friday availability. Successful candidates receive comprehensive training, undergo a six‑month probation period, and then transition to an 8/6 roster. The role involves travel to customer sites across Queensland.
What You'll Be Doing
* Technology Deployment : Install, commission, and maintain GroundProbe products at client sites, ensuring seamless integration.
* Customer Training and Support : Provide hands‑on training, technical assistance, and data monitoring to enhance product effectiveness.
* Safety and Compliance : Adhere to SHES policies, perform risk assessments, and champion safety initiatives.
* Performance Optimisation : Troubleshoot, maintain, and report on product performance, ensuring minimal downtime.
* Stakeholder Collaboration : Engage with internal teams and clients to support innovation and strengthen customer relationships.
What You'll Bring
* Trade qualifications in electrical, mechanical, or electronic disciplines are essential.
* Expertise in electronics, radar, telecommunications, or related fields would be highly regarded.
* Strong communication and adaptability in dynamic work environments.
* Ability to train individuals and small groups effectively.
* Computer literacy, especially in MS Office.
* A manual driver's license and ability to travel across Queensland.
Clearance requirements
Police check, drug and alcohol screening, and pre‑employment medical assessments.
