Job Description:
The role of a senior accountant involves providing expert advice to clients, managing complex financial statements and tax returns, and overseeing various tasks such as cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and succession planning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a team of 2-3 juniors
* Lead the client engagement process
* Provide expert advice on matters including GST, CGT, FBT, and Div7A
* Oversee tasks such as cash flow forecasting, budgeting, management accounting, and succession planning
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* CA/CPA near completion or qualification
* At least 3-4 years of experience within public practice
* Australian or New Zealand permanent resident
* Excellent communication skills and technologically adept
