**About the role**
Are you someone who enjoys delivering accurate insights to business leaders to facilitate the making of informed decisions that lead to appropriate and timely outcomes? We are looking to hire an outstanding **Finance Business Partner** based in Waratah reporting to the Commercial Manager, to drive the provision of business unit financial support and strengthening business relationships across the sales and logistics business functions including:
- Partnering with functional leads to deliver accurate and timly budgets and forecasts
- Preparing analysis and commentary to explain material variances to budget and faciliating monthly busienss unit review meetings
- Maintaining detailed sales and freight reporting suites and providing other support to enable informed business decision making
- Educate and guide functional teams to develop improved financial literacy
- Monitoring transactional data and investigating anomolies
- Maintain sales quoting models and assisting staff in formulating offers
- Participate in costing and pricing review processes
- Preparing ad-hoc analysis, reporting and modelling to support decision making processes
- Participate in month-end close processes focussing on sales and freight activities
**About you**
- CA/CPA qualified
- Extensive experience in forecasting and monthly reporting processes
- Advanced financial modelling skills combined with strong analytical capability
- Business partnering experience
- Natural curiosity and the ability to think laterally
- Deomonstarted initiative with the ability to work across the business to collobratevely develop solutions to business challenges
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in influencing and engaging stakeholders at various levels across an organisation
- Experience in a manufacturing industry and working knowledge of various costing methodologies is highly advantageous
