We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting, fabricating, and welding a variety of metal components, including fencing and structural steel, while ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work specifications.
Measure, cut, assemble, and weld steel and metal components.
Fit, fabricate, and install fencing, gates, balustrades, and structural metalwork.
Operate tools and machinery such as grinders, drills, and welding equipment.
Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Maintain a secure and tidy work environment, adhering to OH&S; standards.
Skills & Experience Required:
Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience as a Fitter–Welder in metal fabrication and installation.
Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques.
Ability to interpret drawings and specifications accurately.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Physically fit with the ability to handle manual work.
Current driver’s licence (preferred).
