Aquaculture Fish Health Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Aquaculture Fish Health Specialist to lead the health and wellbeing of our Barramundi at a family-owned fish farm in Australia.
* Monitoring fish health and implementing strategies to prevent disease
* Managing water quality to ensure optimal conditions for fish growth
* Ensuring biosecurity measures are in place to prevent contamination and protect the health of our fish stock
To be successful in this role, you will have relevant qualifications and experience in aquaculture, strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement health management plans to promote the wellbeing of our fish stock
* Monitor water quality and make adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal conditions
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective communication and a cohesive approach to fish health management
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. aquaculture, animal science)
* At least 3 years' experience in aquaculture or a related field
* Strong knowledge of aquaculture principles and practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
