Job Role:
The Conductor is a critical position within the Operations Group, responsible for ensuring passenger safety onboard trains.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Service Delivery: Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, addressing inquiries and offering information via face-to-face interactions and public announcements.
* Train Readiness: Ensure trains are operational at all times, maintaining cleanliness and functionality.
* Ticketing and Fares: Manage ticket sales, inspect tickets, and provide fare guidance during train services.
* Platform Management: Oversee train departures and assist with luggage handling at stations.
* Coach Duties: Coordinate coach activities during planned and unplanned disruptions and events.
* Fault Identification: Promptly identify and report any equipment or facility issues.
* Emergency Response: Remain prepared to handle service disruptions and emergencies effectively.
Requirements:
* Completion of Year 10 or equivalent education level
* A valid driver's license
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster
* Commitment to customer service and safety
