As an aged care Support Worker at our Milperra centre (Mount Helena), you will provide relief care to our older recipients within our charming cottage environment with three bedrooms. Your care will overall contribute to aged care clients being able to stay within their home and/or the community for as long as possible. You will provide essential support with daily activities, including mealtime support, personal care, medication assistance, companionship, good conversation and other services to ensure comfort, well‑being, dignity & respect.
This position is permanent and part‑time working the below set shifts. You must be able to commit to all of the shifts below to apply for the role.
Week One
Monday (day shift) 07:00 – 16:00
Friday (day shift) 07:00 – 16:00
Saturday (afternoon shift) 15:45 – 22:30
Sunday (afternoon shift) 15:45 – 22:30
Week Two
Monday (night shift) 22:15 – 07:15
Tuesday (night shift) 22:15 – 07:15
Thursday (day shift) 07:00 – 16:00
Friday (day shift) 07:00 – 16:00
Here at Rise, we nurture potential, but we do need you to have a few tricks up your sleeve including the following:
* Certificate III in Community Services and/or relevant experience
* Experience working with dementia clients (desirable)
* Natural ability to work well with people who are aged and build supportive/engaging relationships
* Valid driver's licence
* First aid and CPR training (HLTAID011 & HLTAID009) or willingness to obtain prior to joining Rise.

Appointments to this position will be subject to a national police clearance. Costs for new checks will be covered and/or reimbursed by Rise.
