Project Engineer
This role will be key in the success of major infrastructure projects across South Australia.
Ongoing project works are primarily located north of metropolitan Adelaide, as well as in the Central Northern, Northern, and Eyre Regions of South Australia.
About the Role:
* Support pre- and post-RFTDS Request for TOC Development service request by assisting in material preparation and providing technical constructability support for MDJV's engagement with SA Water.
* Assist in TDS development, including investigation documents for site works, construction execution plan, Class 1 and 3 estimate submissions, developing the R&O Register under senior guidance.
* Facilitate TDS and investigation kick-off meetings by coordinating schedules, planning, risk assessments, and ensuring necessary reviews with the Development Manager.
* Support the investigation-to-TOC development handover by preparing documentation and coordinating meetings to ensure a smooth transition.
* Track and forecast pre-TDS offer codes, flag potential overruns, and assist in preparing variation requests as needed.
* Assist in TOC assurance, program changes, and resource planning, ensuring accurate reporting, efficiency tracking, and appropriate resource allocation.
* Contribute to investigations and solution development for SA Water proposals, supporting planning and preferred solution evaluations.
* Support design development with consultants and stakeholders.
* Maintain strong stakeholder relationships by fostering collaboration, professionalism, and ethical engagement throughout the development process.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
* Tertiary qualification in construction, civil, mechanical, electrical or instrumentation engineering.
* Specialist experience in the water infrastructure and civil construction – highly regarded.
* Specialist experience in project engineering and a working knowledge of project management.
* Competent in planning and organising work schedules and a demonstrated ability to deliver to timelines.
* Sound working knowledge of HSEQ requirements and implementation of same.
* Strong and clear communication skills with proven ability to engage others.
