About The Role
We're looking for a driven and customer-focused Internal Account Manager to join our Sales team based in Carole Park. In this role, you'll take ownership of a defined customer portfolio, building strong relationships while driving revenue growth, margin improvement, and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Be Doing
* Use strategic planning to manage and grow a portfolio of SME customers driving revenue, profit, and margin targets while demonstrating the ability to work autonomously to meet individual performance metrics.
* Proactively engage customers through regular touchpoints via virtual meetings and high-volume cold and warm calls to generate net-new opportunities, book discovery meetings, and re‐engage dormant accounts.
* Respond to inbound enquiries while proactively engaging customers via phone and email to generate sales opportunities through customer education and solution selling.
* Maintain and manage a strong sales pipeline with up-to-date data using CRM systems.
* Identify and convert upsell and cross‐sell opportunities while optimizing supported pricing strategies.
* Collaborate with internal teams to deliver excellent service and resolve issues efficiently.
* Support contract compliance and drive customer satisfaction and retention.
About You
* 3–5 years' experience in sales or account management with a background in internal outbound sales.
* Results‐driven and consistently achieves agreed KPIs in a fast‐paced, target‐driven environment.
* Strong problem‐solving abilities, excellent time‐management and ability to work autonomously while collaborating across different teams.
* Strong relationship‐building skills across all organisational levels, with proven ability in relationship management, upselling, and delivering excellent customer service.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to tailor pitches, handle objections, and effectively convert opportunities to successful outcomes.
* Comprehensive computer and Microsoft Suite skills essential, with CRM and Dynamics experience (highly desirable).
* Experience in the Industrial and Safety sector with proven sales growth and knowledge of safety products, PPE, apparel products and industrial supplies (highly desirable).
