Assistant Manager – Saucony | Bundoora
Full-Time (38 hrs) | Sunday - Thursday
The Opportunity
We're looking for an energetic and driven Assistant Store Manager to support the leadership of our new Saucony Bundoora store. In this role, you'll work closely with your Store Manager and Area Manager to coach, develop and motivate a passionate team, build a strong store culture, and help deliver an exceptional customer experience every day.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is ready to step up, take ownership, and make an impact across people, operations and performance.
The Role
As Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Supporting day-to-day store operations to deliver strong results across KPIs, sales, stock, wages and shrinkage
* Coaching and motivating the team to consistently achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
* Supporting the Store Manager with performance monitoring, celebrating wins and identifying opportunities for improvement
* Assisting with rostering and wage management in line with budget and company standards
* Maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation
* Ensuring compliance with OH&S standards while prioritising team wellbeing
* Developing team capability through on-the-floor coaching, training and mentoring
* Acting as a key leader in-store in the Store Manager's absence
Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
* 1+ years' experience in a Senior Sales Associate, Supervisor or Assistant Store Manager role in a high-volume retail environment
* A results-driven mindset with experience contributing to sales and KPI performance
* Strong operational capability across stock control, visual merchandising and in-store processes
* The ability to understand performance data and translate insights into action
* A people-first leadership style with a genuine passion for developing others and building engaged teams
* A proactive, "Make It Happen" attitude and a love for retail
