Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Allied Health Professional to lead our multidisciplinary team in providing high-standard clinical care within a designated program or region statewide.
1. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring service delivery to children and young people and their families is in accordance with evidenced-based practice, person-centred, trauma-informed care, and meets the requirements of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, legislative requirements, agency policy, and relevant professional competencies.
2. The role involves contributing to the ongoing development of the program area and related change management processes through implementation of the model of care, operational service model and clinical governance requirements.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies, including the development and implementation of specialised treatment programs.
* Collaborate with consultant psychiatrists to develop new youth mental health services in Tasmania.
* Lead and mentor clinicians within the multidisciplinary team, providing support and consultation as required.
* Deliver comprehensive, developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed biopsychosocial mental health assessments and therapies.
* Provide clinical leadership within a designated program area, region, or statewide stream.
Requirements
* Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program and registration with the relevant National Board, or full membership/eligibility with the relevant professional association for self-regulated allied health professions.
* Current Working with Children Registration.
