Highway Maintenance Specialist
The primary objective of this role is to ensure the safety and efficiency of our transportation network by performing routine inspections and maintenance activities on roads and bridges. Your work will involve responding to emergencies and executing tasks against traffic management plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct manual labor-intensive tasks in accordance with established safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
* Execute work tasks against traffic management plans and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
* Respond to emergencies under general supervision.
Requirements:
* Candidates should possess excellent project delivery skills, including the ability to execute work tasks against traffic management plans and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
* They should be able to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to seek resolution of problems through policy or process guidelines.
* Additionally, candidates should be able to contribute ideas toward improving the effectiveness of their work area and understand and deliver against standards of quality and effectiveness applicable to their area of work.
