We are seeking a passionate, driven and knowledgeable Assistant Director, who has the experience and desire to lead, support and manage our team of Educators, and help with the day-to-day running of our amazing childcare cantre.
This is a unique position where the Assistant Director role is a predominantly an off the floor position. Your focus will be to support our Centre Director on a day-to-day basis.
A little about you
* Support to manage the day-to-day operations of the centre in line with legislative requirements, and company policies and procedures.
* Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to all staff.
* Ensure that high-quality early learning programs are delivered by our passionate team of Educators.
* Manage staffing rosters efficiently.
* Effectively manage the financial requirements of the centre in line with budget guidelines.
* Ensure that high-quality standards for centre presentation and work practices are practiced consistently.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, Educators, the local business community, and all other stakeholders.
* Ensure you are actively attracting, converting and retaining families by effectively managing and overseeing tours, enrolments and orientation in conjunction with our Enrolments Team.
About you
* Minimum of a Diploma of Children's Services or Early Childhood Degree as approved by ACECQA.
* Must have 1 years experience as an Assistant Director
* Current blue card, approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* The ability to lead in a classroom environment.
* A sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF.
