An exciting opportunity has become available for a teaching assistant to join Newlands Primary. The Governing Body are looking to recruit a teaching assistant who is enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated to improving the life chances of the children attending the school. The teaching assistant appointed will:
- Support pupil's learning under the supervision of a Teacher
- Attend to pupils personal needs and to provide support in managing pupils
- Hold high expectations for pupils
- Be a nurturing teaching assistant with resilience to attend to the needs of vulnerable groups
- Have a good commitment to school improvement
- Be able to inspire and motivate pupils
- Be hardworking, resourceful and adaptable
- Work as part of an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team
- Be willing to attend professional development courses when required
- Participate in school visits
- Willing to undertake first aid training
