The Change and Communications Manager will provide management and leadership to the Change and Communications Unit of the Transformation Office and requires the ability implement change smoothly on major QPS projects and to generate active and positive participation in transformative change from front line policing to the Executive level.

Your key accountabilities
The core capability requirements for this role are:
* Lead, develop and enable a team of Business Process Analysts and Change & Communications Officers to design and deliver effective change management practices for the organisation, across multiple projects.
* Lead the development and implementation of the change and communication strategy for the Transformation Office.
* Provide strategic advice to senior management on the QPS transformation agenda change management program approach and progress.
* Build and maintain productive working relationships and networks with key stakeholders to promote the successful adoption of change within the QPS.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders and relevant specialists to develop and facilitate effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the business.
* Monitor and report on the effectiveness and change implementation metrics including business readiness targets, business engagement activity, training design and deployment activities.
* Promote an uplift of change capability by facilitating opportunities for learning and consideration of future skills required to deliver change programs, enabling increased capability and agility across the QPS.
Role Requirements
Mandatory
* Previous experience in a similar role.
Technical/ Operational/ Educational experience
* Tertiary or other relevant qualifications in one or both of Communications and Change Management would be highly desirable.
Other
* Experience in delivering communications and driving smooth and effective Change Management in a 24/7 environment is highly desirable.
