The role

We are looking for an energetic and experienced individual to provide a professional and effective customer service/reception interface for students, parents and visitors to the 7‐12 area of the School in the position of Coleman Receptionist (Student Assistant) in this full time, ongoing opportunity. Working term‐time only, and an additional 15 days across non‐term time each year, you will be required to support the overall operational effectiveness of the School with a particular focus on support to the 7‐12 learning area.

The successful applicant will have:
* Completed post‐secondary study in business administration or related areas and/or comparable on the job experience.
* Possess a positive outlook and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and interact with both adults and students.
* Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience using our school management system, Synergetic.
* Highly developed computer skill and literacy, with advanced skills in MS Office.
* Experience effectively managing and supporting the work of several busy supervisors/managers.
* Demonstrated knowledge of administrative processes and databases.
* High level communication skills.
* The ability to work independently but also as part of a dynamic, creative and collaborative team.
* Willingnes to be involved in all aspects of the School's program.
* Demonstratable understanding of and a commitment to following the School's child safety expectations, principles and policies.
* Current Employee Working with Children check or willing to obtain prior to commencement.
* Have a current National Police Check (obtained within the last six months).
