About the role
The successful candidate will be proactive and have an adaptable attitude with a commercial focus on litigation, building and construction and/or property law experience, preferably with 3 to 7 years PQE looking for the opportunity to develop within a boutique practice.
The position will require someone who is able to critically analyse legal matters with a common sense approach. You will be outcome focused by meeting deadlines and proactive in your approach.
Tasks and responsibilities
The opportunity exists to work in such diverse areas as:
* Contracts
* Mergers and acquisitions
* Strata law
* Business sales and purchases
* Residential and commercial property development
* Commercial Disputes
* Building and Construction Law
* Corporation matters
And will be required to:
* Provide advices across a number of business law areas
* Act in strata law front and back end matters
* Draft and review contracts of all kinds
* Act for both sellers and buyers of businesses
* Act for and advise property developers in acquisitions
* Deal with clients directly and assist in developing relationships with those clients
Essential qualities
* 3 -7 years post admission experience.
* Proactive, Passionate and results driven
* Attention to detail, organised and able to deal within a high volume work environment
* Excellent communication skills.
* Team player and client focused
