Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker.

This role involves providing essential assistance to clients with high needs, aiding with personal care and daily tasks.


About The Role

You will work closely with clients who use wheelchairs and have additional medical needs, ensuring they receive the necessary care and support.

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for prioritizing tasks, demonstrating problem-solving abilities, and working effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.


Key Responsibilities

* Engage with clients effectively, building positive relationships and supporting their unique needs
* Resiliently manage challenging situations and adapt to changing circumstances
* Demonstrate strong communication skills, ensuring seamless interactions with colleagues and clients
* Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of client needs, creating personalized care plans
* Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to organizational standards


Requirements

* Confident in engaging with clients, building positive relationships, and supporting their unique needs
* Resilient and self-assured, able to work with clients from diverse backgrounds
* Skilled in prioritizing tasks and demonstrating problem-solving abilities
* Flexible, with availability for shift work, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook
* Holder of a valid Australian Driver's License, Working With Children Check, and NSW NDIS Workers Screening Check
* Able to pass a National Criminal History Check
* Experience with high-needs Disability clients
* Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent (desirable)
* Demonstrated understanding of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) processes (desirable)
