Finance Manager
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in financial management, with expertise in planning, reporting, and compliance.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead the Finance team to achieve accurate and timely financial outcomes
* Drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making
* Ensure compliance with legislative and organisational requirements
Financial Planning & Analysis:
* Prepare monthly financial reports for Executive Management and stakeholders
* Manage annual budgets, long-term financial planning, and budget variation processes
* Provide financial analysis and reporting tools to support informed decision-making
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
* Coordinate annual financial statements and external audits
* Ensure compliance with government financial management policies
* Administer FBT and GST, including monthly BAS
Treasury & Risk:
* Oversee cash flow management, investments, and loan portfolio
* Manage creditor, debtor, and payroll functions
* Arrange and maintain insurance cover and claims
Systems & Innovation:
* Administer core finance systems and provide staff training
* Drive ERP implementation and process improvements
Leadership & Corporate Responsibilities:
* Lead and support the Finance team
* Promote teamwork, continuous improvement, and compliance with organisational policies
About You:
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
* CPA or CA accreditation (or working towards)
* Proven experience in financial management, reporting, and compliance
* Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data
* Leadership experience with a focus on team development and innovation
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
